The Holy Savior Cathedral, also known the Church of the Saintly Sisters, is a cathedral located in the New Julfa district of Isfahan, Iran. It is commonly referred to the Vank , which means “convent” in the Armenian language. The cathedral was established in 1606 for Armenian deportees whom were settled by Shah Abbas.
Interior side of cathedral is exquisitely gilded and from this point of view it’s unique among Armenian cathedrals .Moreover, walls and arches are ornamented with the Holy Bible’s content.
